The First Post!

Welcome to the Ron Hoffman Blog!  A 70th Birthday present to everyone's favorite mass emailer, this blog is intended to be a very 21st century way for Ron to share his views (mostly conservative), his jokes (mostly dirty), and his photos (mostly Harry) with you - his ever-growing audience of readers.  We'll be giving this blog to Ron for his birthday on Saturday, and from then on, it will be his to use to set the blogosphere afire.  Let the internet buzz begin!

WOW! This is the perfect present for you. I hope they signed up for the "superblog" b/c otherwise, between what you have to say and all of your fan responses, you are liable to bring this thing down.
Happy 70th birthday and many more to come. See you soon. Happy blogging.

Happy happy 70th Uncle Ron!! I was just the other day thinking about my first baseball game I ever went to, which of course you and Auntie Barbara took me to. What a memory that will always be. You even had me believing for a bit that EB and Auntie Barbara were related to Roberto Kelly -- don't know how that would have worked.

Anyhow much love and I happy happy birthday wishes!

Happy, Happy Birthday, Ron -

What will we do once the emails stop?? That's how we knew you weren't getting into too much trouble that day -- just sitting there at the computer finding useful, funny, entertaining matter to fill our in-box. I always wondered how you found the time. And, how will I know how "bad" the Democrats and Obama are now?

Karen and I wish you all the best. Hope to see you and Barbara soon.

Happy, Happy Birthday to my favorite cousin! Although you took inordinate enjoyment in tormenting me when we were younger, all is forgiven. Hope you have a terrific day and best wishes for a life on your terms and, perhaps, a prayer for moderation.
Love,
Barbara

Happy Birthday Ron. Your daughter is dragging me along with you into the 21st century. You will not believe how long it took me to figure out how to send you a happy birthday greeting on your new Blog. And now I am not sure if you will get this twice. How does feel to be at the outter limits of middle age. Heaven help us if Gehris gets a blog. I hope you have many more healthy birthdays. Don

Happy Birthday, Ron. The four of us are sitting on the shore of Lake Canandaigua watching the sun set over the beautiful lake and hills, appropriate drinks in hand, trying to come up with something clever to say to commemorate your birthday and blog blast-off. It may be the scenery, but probably the drinks were a bit too appropriate, but we just can't do it. Lake equivalent of "beach brain". So, see Rory McIlroy above, minus the golf; we don't do golf. (Good job, Rory.) Love from all of us here.

Oh to be 70 again!

I will teach you how to count in celcius, so next time someone asks you "how old are you Ron"" You can answer in celcius (21)
(°F] = [°C] × 9⁄5 + 32)

Most of our peers can't do the math.

Better yet, come visit me in the Dominican Republic where no body gives a damn.

Happy Birthday!

Charlie

Dear Ron,

We will lift a glass of wine tonight and toast you on your 70th. You and I share a common bond in realizing that each day is a gift. Fran and I just finished playing a few hours of tennis in West Yellowstone after I talked to my cousin who just got a stent put to relieve a 99% blockage, so it is fitting that my gratitude at hearing his voice and knowing that you are doing well is my gift for today. May your 70th be a great occasion with family and friends and may you next 10 and beyond be especially rich. A warm hug from all the Kahns to you and all your wonderful family. Tim

Dear Ron

I am very glad that you were born. I could never have invented you. I know that you think that I was put on this earth to politically provoke you, but you know enough about politics to understand that we need each other. I treasure you.

Love,
Susan

Happy Birthday, Phooey!
You didn't need the cover of a birthday . . .70th no less. . . to add to the cacaphony of verbal pollution on the web. Nonetheless, I will look forward with relish (and a hot dog on the side)to reading your every word . . .much of which I will challenge.
So, welcome to cyberspace having joined the
Rush wanabes and Evangelists, Bachmannites, Palinistas, Perrywinkles and Romulins dingbats to bring order to the conservative and Mad Tea Party universe (GOD KNOWS . . IT NEEDS IT) . . .What the heck, you did it for the Yankees a few years ago . . .why not the country.
Happy Birthday, Ron.

Happy Birthday, Ron! Yet another newer and cooler way to communicate your thoughts with the rest of the world. A blog of your own! What a great birthday gift! Did you know that the kid who won the PGA is the son of the golf pro at Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis? Bet you didn't know THAT!! Remember, now you are 7 10 year olds all packed into one. Love The Kallops
